If you want to stay after dinner, spend the night in a room of the golf and conference hotel PARKHOTEL-Rosarium****. As part of a tour group of at least 40 people, you'll be paying 55,50 Euro p.p. for one night in a double room including a menu of three courses and a breakfast buffet. Surcharge for single occupancy 12,00 Euro. Certainly the motorist does not need to be short-changed. He is guest of our house. Because after all the most important thing is, that he is rested and strengthened.

Relaxation rooms for bus drivers on outings. In order to ensure that also motorists on trips without overnight stay get enough sleep, the PARKHOTEL-Rosarium**** arranged three relaxation rooms, which are available for free for up to two hours, as long as the driver reserves a room at least two to three hours before arrival. During the motorist sleeps, the travellers use the time to frequent the park restaurant and get sun-tickled on the sun deck with a view to the millpond. Because the hotel is situated in midst of the supraregionally known "Rosarium", one should also take the chance to take a little walk in the park.

As the hotel can be reached easily from the motorway, it is ideal for an intermediate stop on a bus tour passing by Hamburg.
From the motorway A 23 (exit Elmshorn, Tornesch, Pinneberg-Nord/-Mitte/-Süd), it is reachable in 10 to 20 minutes. From the motorway A 7 (exit Hamburg-Schnelsen Nord) you will need 24 minutes.

The PARKHOTEL-Rosarium**** What started in 1964 as a little idyllic café among a flourishing park of roses, developed to the principal golf and conference hotel of the administrative district Pinneberg over time. In 1999 it was rebuilt and extended, the new construction got realised and enlarged about a new area of conference and banquet halls. A new marketing concept and finally a new name were milestones on the way to the big goal. On september 15th 2004 the PARKHOTEL-Rosarium****officially got honoured as a first class hotel with the four stars of the DEHOGA for the first time. Next to the Michelin-, VARTA-, ADAC-, ADFC and the Schleswig-Holstein Tourism Agency reference is this the most important classification of the house. The PARKHOTEL-Rosarium**** is opened all-year. The Rosarium
The city of roses and weddings Uetersen, the "secret city of culture" of the administrative district Pinneberg, counts 7.688 inhabitants, is placed in the south of Schleswig-Holstein and is known even outside the frontiers of Germany for its rose-growing. In the town, which is more than 775 years old, features the biggest and oldest rosarium in North Germany, with more than 35.000 roses and 900 varieties, including 200 historical varieties of roses. The PARKHOTEL-Rosarium**** is located in this idyll, where guests of the hotel are able to sit amid the rosarium at the mill pond on the sun deck. Surrounded by water and inmidst the roses, people wanting to get married are able to do so on the wedding isle since 2009 . The town of Uetersen
In the metropolitan area Hamburg the city of roses and weddings Uetersen is situated. In the 18th century the planned cultivation of all along new rose creations in Europe started. Famous for its achievements at rose-growing it's not possible to imagine the world without the town of Uetersen. The largest area of rose-growing in Germany is located in Uetersen. Every year about 20 million rose plants are grown in widespread companies in Uetersen and partially exported to the most distant corners of the world. Since 1992 the "city of roses" Uetersen deserves its byname as one of ten german rose towns. The success according to the world of roses opened another interesting and contemporary economic sector: the gates to the town of weddings Uetersen. In more than 775 years old town Uetersen the oldest house (1664) is to be found in the historical monastery complex. The late baroque, brick abbatial church is the most famous landmark of Uetersen. Built in 1748/49, the 250-year-anniversary was celebrated in 1999. The ceiling of the interior is decorated with a fresco by Italien master G.B. Colombo. The surrounding of Uetersen has much more to offer: The Haseldorfer Marsch is part of the Holstein Elbmarschen and lines the river Elbe for 15 kilometers, well known as the large ornithological rest and breeding area of the Lower Elbe. The entire area can be explored through the network of cycle and hiking trails of the administrative district of Pinneberg. The cyclist, as well as the running and hiking scene use this region for their leisure activities.
The administrative district Pinneberg
With an area of 664sq km Pinneberg is indeed the smallest district of Schleswig-Holstein. With 301.290 inhabitants it is also the district with the highest population though. It is not surprising that a majority of the 49 communes feature a rose or a tree in their arms or the district emblem, as there are the tree nurseries, which the administrative district Pinneberg is known for even beyond Germany und Europe. As the most important economic sector of the region it developed into the biggest connected area of tree nurseries in the world and got the byname "cradle of the german wood". The 400 tree nurseries in the district cover 4170 hectares of land. Amongst these numerous tree nurseries are two rose-growers with a history of more than a hundred years and big success on the global market. On the one hand this is the company "Kordes", founded in Sparrieshoop in 1889, and on the other hand "Rosen Tantau, situated in Uetersen since 1906.
